You can ask us to delete your Unitly account, and all of your business's data in it, at any time.
How to ask
- From the email address you use for Unitly, send an email to support@axcelsoft.com.
- Use the subject Delete my Unitly account, and include your business name as it appears in the app.
- We will reply to confirm that the request comes from you, the account owner.
- We delete your account and your business's data within 30 days of confirming, and let you know when it is done.
Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone. Before you ask, save any receipts or records you want to keep: you can send them from the app.
What is deleted
- Your account: your name, email address, mobile number, password, your Google sign-in connection and your sign-in sessions.
- Your business details and settings, including the payment instructions you show tenants.
- Your properties and units, and their photos.
- Your tenant records: contact details, emergency contacts, ID details and scans, photos, documents, contracts, household members and notes.
- Bills, charges, payments, receipts and proofs of payment.
- Your staff members' accounts, and your business's activity log.
What is kept, and for how long
- Records the law requires us to keep, such as those needed for tax purposes or legal claims, are kept only for as long as the law requires, then deleted.
- Server logs, which can include an email address or IP address, are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted.
Deleting some data only
To remove some records without deleting your account, delete them in the app. To have specific information permanently erased while you keep your account, email support@axcelsoft.com and tell us what to erase.
Staff and tenants
- Staff members: the business owner can remove your access. Only the owner can delete the business's account.
- Tenants do not have Unitly accounts. To have your information corrected or removed, ask your landlord. You can also contact us, and we will help your landlord respond.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
